Green Apple Awards 2023
We attended the Green Apple Awards at the prestigious Palace of Westminster in London, with Uniper and Birmingham Airport, taking home two gold green apples and an Ambassador International CSR Excellence Award. It was a fantastic event, were our clients and sustainability champions were recognised as leading the way in their respective categories.
Uniper, Novati and Filter Clean UK came together to refurbish and reuse ‘single-use’ air filters which were traditionally treated as general waste and landfilled or sent to energy recovery facilities. This ground-breaking first for the UK, delivers both financial and environmental benefits and truly focuses on the circular economy. It can also be replicated for thousands of other UK businesses.
Uniper collected not one, but two gold awards in the waste management category and Innovation category for Fuel, Power & Energy Sector. Their innovative approach to resource management. Their intense focus on inverting the waste hierarchy is why they are deserving winners in the energy category.
Birmingham Airport were awarded the CSR World Leader, becoming one of the leading airports in the aviation sector. Measuring and assessing their Corporate Social Responsibility, building, and integrating fantastic social and environmental concerns consistently for the numerous years we have built a partnership together.
