Awards for Excellence 2023
On Thursday 11th May we attended the Awards for Excellence 2023. We were privileged to attend the event where we were finalists with Uniper & co-partner Filter Clean in the “Waste Management Initiative” category.
The awards represent the annual celebration of businesses and individuals making a difference to sustainability in the waste industry, and their supply chain. The winners will be announced at a ceremony being held in The Grosvenor, London.
Speaking about the awards, our Head of External Affairs, Dave Gudgeon said “We’re back this year at the awards for excellence, for the first time with Uniper. We’ve got years of experience delivering sustainable solutions to clients and we believe that Letsrecycle.com do a fantastic job highlighting the sustainability agenda and promoting responsible business practice for the waste industry.”

That’s why we partnered with Uniper to Reduce, Refurbish and Reuse single-use air filters, which supports their sustainability journey towards a thriving and sustainable tomorrow.
Highlights include:
- Cleaned filters operated at 98% efficiency.
- 1,152 single use filters have been refurbished and re-used twice.
- Engineers’ reports suggest that filters can be refurbished 3 -4 times.
