BRING ON THE ‘LATINO HEAT’
Music has the power to shape the future. No matter how old we are, we all remember the artists who influenced so many aspects of our lives; never more so than when we were teenagers. As a business, we at NOVATI believe our actions have a significant impact on the environment in which we all live. But for us, we want to go further. We want to ensure that we find new ways to have a positive impact on communities. For this very reason, we have sponsored the latest release from a young artist called Kanda.
We’ve taken the decision to support Kanda because he is an aspiring young artist who delivers important messages to the youth of today. As an up-and-coming artist, Kanda has performed in the finals of the Open Mic UK competition at London’s O2 arena. His passionate messaging looks to raise awareness and challenge society on subjects such as knife crime and the Black Lives Matter movement.
Kanda’s latest piece called ‘Latino Heat’ is a collaboration with British Indian artist Panjabi MC. The recording artist, rapper, producer and DJ has won many accolades including MTV Europe Music Awards, MOBO Awards and UK Asian Music Awards to name but a few.
With the support of family, friends and the community we’re sure that Kanda will soon be recognised as one of the UK’s best undiscovered artists.
